Magazine Idea 3

Target Audience
This magazine will target a niche audience. It wont be gender specific and will target an age group of around 16-25. The sub-genre of the magazine is R’n’B/Hip Hop music.
Ideas for main cover image There will be three photos on the cover. A main photo in medium close up two rappers/singers, with annoyed facial expressions. They won’t be smiling as this shows the magazine is to be taken seriously. Two smaller photos of people featured inside the magazine, such as lesser known rappers/singers or photos from a live show. These two photos will be at the bottom of the page next to writing about an article.
Other possible contents
Interviews, Album Reviews, Performance Reviews/ Upcoming shows. A strip across the bottom of the cover listing musicians – Kanye west, Lil Wayne, Akon, Missy Elliot and 50 Cent. As these are all well known musicians it will attract a wider audience
Ideas for main splash article
Interview with a rapper or a review of an album/Performance. Ideas for other possible contents: Interviews, Album Reviews, Tours.
Colour schemes
To keep the magazine simple I will use no more than 4 colours throughout the magazine, Black, White, Light Pink, Yellow. With a black background these colours will stand out.
